Todd-AO is a post-production company founded in 1953 by Mike Todd and Robert Naify.

In cinematography, it's most commonly referred to the series of lenses created for the Todd-AO process during the height of competing widescreen systems. Todd AO was an response to the Cinerama process which attempted to eliminate the need for the cumbersome three strip process or in Mike Todd's words: “Cinerama out of one hole.”

In the 1970's, a series of 35mm format lenses were made to compete with Panavision.
