A high-performance wide-angle lens for rangefinder cameras! It is characterized by its easy handling and compact design and was specially developed for rangefinder cameras. It offers outstanding optical performance thanks to state-of-the-art lens calculation and aspherical lens elements. The COLOR-SKOPAR 28 mm F2.8 aspherical offers the same optical performance as our popular Voigtländer ULTRON Vintage Line 28 mm F2 aspherical, while keeping the maximum aperture at F2.8 for even better portability. The lens is available in three different versions. Type I VM (Leica M mount) has a nostalgic look with a rotating helicoid system and a brass exterior. It is available in black and silver. The variant with the screw thread (see M39 connection) offers the same specifications as type I VM and is available in black paint and silver finish. Type II VM (Leica M mount), on the other hand, presents a modern style with a straight helicoid system and an aluminum exterior to reduce weight. It is also available in black and silver. The optical system of the COLOR-SKOPAR 28 mm F2.8 Aspherical VM/L (M39) consists of 8 elements in 5 groups, including a double-sided aspherical lens. The lens has been specially optimized for use with rangefinder cameras, both digital and analogue. It can also be used with mirrorless digital cameras without any problems by using Voigtländer mount adapters. All six models of the COLOR-SKOPAR 28 mm F2.8 Aspherical VM/L (L39) are characterized by their extremely compact appearance and once again set standards in terms of quality, performance and design.
