(INSERT SINGLE HERO IMAGE HERE - other images below in media section)
Summary
Panavision VA large-format spherical primes combine vintage and modern optical characteristics in a compact, lightweight, fully modern mechanical build, delivering state-of-the-art capabilities alongside predictable vintage-feeling aberrations. With a softer look than Primos or Panaspeeds, VA primes offer excellent close focus, a fast aperture, consistent performance across focal lengths, and modern coatings to resist veiling glare. Additionally, built-in encoders (not available on prototype VA primes) enable crews to capture lens metadata to aid VFX and virtual-production workflows.
