Service

This section restricted to Duclos Staff users.

Service Manual: (Insert link to manual here)
Full CLA: 4hrs F&I only (no optics). +2-3hrs for optics cleaning.
C&L of focus and iris can be achieved without disturbing optics.
1. Remove iris retaining ring via three screws. Take note that there may be small shim material under this ring around the three screw holes.
2. Remove iris ring (you will most likely need to remove iris linkage beforehand.)
3. Remove witness ring via three screws. Take note of shim material around screws, similar to ring above.
4. Remove adjustable focus scale retaining ring (it has various adjustment holes that line up with a protruding screw in the above witness ring. Due to this adjust-ability, this ring does not need to be glued down during reassembly.
5. Unscrew the focus scale/outer heilcal (you do not need to separate the focus scale from the outer helical if you don't want) and mark the exit point.
6. Remove the inner helical via three screws, marking it's clocking position, of course. Clean the components and reassemble (F5 for focus and GF30 and tri-flow for iris are the usual go-to combo. If further cleaning is required, like the internal focusing/optical housing components aren't moving smoothly, then proceed with the disassembly.
