Dalsa Digital was part of the Teledyne Imaging Group - a semiconductor manufacturer based in Canada. Pioneer of the original 4K digital cinema camera. Dalsa announced their first 4K cinema camera in 2003. The company was forced to close it's digital cinema camera operation in 2008 due to a declining economy and pressure from shareholders.
