Whitepoint Canon 50mm T1.2 DL

Summary

The Canon 50mm F0. 95 is known as “Dream Lens”. It was designed to replace the Canon 50mm F1. 2. It offers superior optics and distinctive dreamy look.

Dream Lens was made back in 1960s and 1970s for the Canon 7/7s Rangefinder and it held the crown for the fastest production lens in the world at the time.

The very first rehoused Canon Dream lens with PL-mount was delivered by Whitepoint Optics to Old Fast Glass, Los Angeles in October 2021. In order to work on PL cameras the lens needed a complete re-engineering. The lens is a piece of imaging history.
