Declicking procedure for the Minolta 135mm f/2.8 MC
-Remove the screw holding the ball bearing on the iris ring.
To lubricate the iris ring, do the following:
-Remove the 4 mount screws (this causes a bearing/segment assembly to be loose. It is recommended that you remove them before proceeding. They are underneath the iris linkage that moves in the rear.)
-Unthread the rear baffle. This releases the prime.
-Lift the focus housing from the prime.
-Remove the three screws holding the rear cover from the prime
-Remove cover ring.
-Locate the silver tab that sticks out from the lens exterior. Remove the slotted screw and spring holding it in place.
-Remove the five screws holding the 2 iris stop pieces.
-Remove the two iris stop pieces. (This should allow you to gently remove the iris ring, being mindful of all parts still attached.
Lubricate the ring, and follow directions in reverse.)
