Dis-assembly:
Remove front hood by extending sunshade to reveal 2 Philips screws. Once removed hood will lift off. All other components are removed towards back of lens.
To access focus and iris rings: Remove M mount, shims may be located underneath mount.
Remove 3 Philips screws in rear housing to lift of rear housing. Focus keys are revealed underneath.
Remove 6 Philips screws located on beveled edge of focus housing and in keys area to lift off focus ring (from focus gear towards back of lens). Shims may be located underneath focus section.
Remove 4 Philips screws holding iris gear onto control ring. Control ring is sandwiched between clip ring and front housing. Remove clip ring to lift off iris control ring to access iris pin and “click” bearing. There is a loose tolerance between iris ring and clip ring. Iris will have end play ( play is within tolerance from factory).
