Hood Removal: (accompanying photos taken during reassembly.
Pull the lens hood as far forward as possible. Unthread the Serial Number ring from the front shroud (reverse threaded) (see pics 1, 2).
Remove the now exposed set screw (pic 3). Unthread the front optics. Drop the hood out from the rear.
