===== Voigtländer 50mm f/1.5 Heliar Classic ===== {{ :lens:heliar-c-50_15_2_klein.jpg?400|}} ==== Summary ==== The Heliar Classic 50mm F1.5 VM is a deliberate counterpart to today’s high-performance lenses. It is designed in such a way that, with the aperture open, it shows a shaping-classical image through an intentionally left aberration. The lens configuration consists of six lenses in three groups and interprets the original heliarch type. Especially at the aperture of F1.5, a bokeh effect is apparent, creating spherical and chromatic aberrations at the edges of the image that would be difficult to reproduce through digital processing. This effect diminishes with increasingly smaller apertures and from aperture F4 the Heliar behaves largely distortion-neutral. The overall effect of the picture can be described as picturesque and velvety. ==== Tech Specs ==== | Manufacturer |Voigtländer| | Series |Still lens| | Model |Heliar Classic| | Focal Length |50mm| | Max Aperture |f/1.5| | Min Aperture |f/16| | Format |FF| | Image Circle |-| | Minimum Focus |0.5m| | Focus Rotation |-| | Iris Blades |10| | Optical Design |6/3| | Squeeze |none| | Front Diameter |56.8mm| | Filter Thread |49mm| | Focus/Zoom Rod |-| | Native Mount |M| | Data Protocol |none| | Length |41.9mm| | Weight |255g| | Body Telescope |-| | Body Material |aluminum| | Focus Drive |manual| | Iris Drive |manual| | Zoom Drive |n/a| ==== History ==== Country of Origin: Austria/Germany \\ Release Date: - \\ Launch Price: - \\ Design Revisions:\\ ==== Service ==== Service Manual: (Insert link to manual here) \\ \\ Full CLA: **#hrs.**\\ Enter relevant notes here\\ ==== Cine-Mod ==== Focus Ring O.D.: -\\ Zoom Ring O.D.: -\\ Iris Ring O.D.: -\\ De-click Y/N: -\\ Additional Notes: \\ ==== Notes ==== ==== Media ====
