• CLeW strives to provide a comprehensive and reliable online resource for professionals and enthusiasts in the motion picture industry. It's an ambitious project that I started as an effort to share my knowledge and experience. We strive to be the go-to destination for information on cinema lens manufacturers, their lens models, and the features and history of the motion picture lens industry. By presenting accurate and up-to-date information in a user-friendly format, we aim to foster a greater understanding and appreciation of the art and technology of cinema lens production and use.

• We've deployed a Tools & Data section to CLeW. This will be a space for convenient resources for all CLeW users to employ starting with a Macro Extension Tube Calculator for generating practical focusing distances when using an Extension Tube.
• The Lens Database page has been revised with a more streamlined organization method (alphabetical). The older table style was more compact, but proved too challenging and time consuming to make minor updates to. The new layout provides an alphabetical table of contents on the right-hand column.
• The Cine Pen Archive has been updated to include a few additional spec fields; Pen Type, Ink Color, Ink Refill Type, Stowage Method, and more! We've also updated the archival photo setup which now includes an incredibly color accurate Sigma SD Quattro H and 70mm Macro lens to record the highest quality, most accurate images possible.
